Safeguarding and Welfare Officer 
Hours: Full-time (37.Contract: Permanent

We couldn’t do what we do without our fantastic staff team, and we are looking for an experienced Safeguarding & Welfare Officer to join our dedicated team working with students in need and their families in order to prevent children/students becoming looked after and/or suffering significant harm.
If you are looking for a role where you can use your Safeguarding & Welfare knowledge and experience to support our Designated Safeguarding Lead in safeguarding and child protection matters, then we want to hear from you. Come and join us on this exciting journey to help every student in our school reach their potential.
The Safeguarding & Welfare Officer we would like to join us will:
• Have high level working knowledge and understanding of Safeguarding and Child Protection policy and practice.
• Be able to make complex decisions about child safety, parent safety and understand the LA threshold for social service / police/medical involvement.
