After 12 months you will be expected to generate appointments for the external sales team and accompany them on client visits leading to you becoming a field sales person (2 days in the office & 3 days out visiting clients) covering the UK after 2 years PERSON SPECIFICATION: Internal Sales Executive, Business Development Manager - Technical Components, Manufacturing

  • You WILL have a proven track record in internal or external sales of technical components to OEM or Contractors.
  • Any specific experience of electrical or electronic components or of enclosures & boxes would be advantageous.
  • You will be comfortable working for a small business.
  • Any electrical qualifications would be great too but are not essential.
THE COMPANY: A very well established British manufacturer of high quality stainless steel cable management systems and enclosures and boxes selling via wholesalers and direct to Contractors and OEM machine builders mainly supplying onto the beverage and food industries. Sales are split 50/50 between the UK & USA. I have recruited for this family owned business for over 20 years and I placed the person who runs the business and would be your line manager here. A really nice company offering good career development. PROSPECTS: This role offers excellent prospects to progress into field sales after 2 years with lots of training and longer term either to become Sales Manager or even move to work in their USA sales team.
