We are looking for a dedicated Further Education Teaching Assistant to join a specialist college in Horsham, West Sussex.
This role is ideal for someone passionate about making a positive impact in the lives of young adults aged 19 and over, supporting them in their educational journey. This role is based in Horsham and is easily accessible by car from the following locations within a 30-minute commute:
85 per hour, depending on experience.
* Hours: Monday to Friday, term-time only (39 weeks per year).
* 5 - 40 hours per week (Full and part-time options available).

As a Further Education Teaching Assistant, you will be based in a specialist college setting, working under the guidance of Specialist Tutors and Learning College Support Workers. The college offers young adults (aged 19+) access to specialist education while providing therapy and behavioural support through a multidisciplinary team. This dynamic environment offers excellent facilities and the opportunity to engage with local charities and employers, enhancing students' learning experience.
Creating an engaging and supportive learning environment in line with the college’s ethos.
* Assisting in planning and implementing individual and group educational programs under the direction of the Lead Tutor or Centre Manager.
* Facilitating student mobility, including assisting with moving furniture and equipment as required.
