Supporting Young People with SEMH Needs

We are seeking a dedicated and caring Teaching Assistant to join our team in Horsham. As a SEMH LSA, you will play a vital role in supporting students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide individualized support to students with SEMH needs, helping them engage with learning and build positive relationships.
  • Assist with implementing behavior management strategies and individualized education plans (IEPs).
  • Support students in both academic and social aspects of school life, promoting resilience and self-confidence.
  • Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to create a nurturing and inclusive learning environment.
  • Monitor student progress and report on their development.
