Series Development Executive (Grad Role / Sales Support / Research Role)
CWP (Content With Purpose) is seeking a highly organised team player with initiative and a thirst for knowledge to join us as a Series Development Executive. Whilst this role offers flexible working, those applying must be able to commute to an office in the Swansea region at least two working days per week.
You will have the opportunity to lay the foundations that shape our content through research into a variety of industries and sectors, and organisations and individuals who are steering meaningful progress for sustainable development.
This is a full-time hybrid position that would suit a recent graduate or early career professional, looking to gain skills and experience in a hugely rewarding role with an innovative and purpose-driven production company.
High level responsibilities will include:
- Researching a variety of industries and sectors
- Looking for suitable organisations and contacts to feature as ‘Content Partners’ in our digital series
- Establishing connections and possible stories, and drafting high level introductory emails
- Utilising LinkedIn, Excel, a CRM system and other online resources to track and monitor outreach.

‘Leading the Way to a World Beyond Waste’ is a digital series that CWP produced in collaboration with CIWM (the Chartered Institution of Wastes Management) and launched in September 2023. It explores the essential role of the resources and waste management sector in advancing circularity and protecting the world’s environment and resources for future generations. About the role - Series Development Junior Researcher
Key responsibilities:
- Thorough industry analysis to identify key topics, challenges, opportunities in a variety of focus sectors, helping to shape key themes and storylines
- In-depth research activity to map out potential partners and contributors for each series, spanning a range of organisations
- Use online sources such as company websites and LinkedIn to identify relevant lead contacts
- Update and maintain our CRM platform and internal tracking documents, with clear briefing notes and strong attention to detail.
- Meet daily and weekly activity targets to ensure projects progress on track
- Create weekly activity reports to share with the team
- Attend weekly sales meetings to ensure targets are on track, discuss approaches, and identify new opportunities
- Collaborate with our Production team to recommend ‘editorial’ contributors

- Ability to digest, process and condense complex information into a clear, articulate analysis / brief
- Excellent writing skills and email communication - spelling, punctuation, grammar, accuracy, attention to detail.
- Strong time management to meet deadlines, organisation and ability to juggle several projects
