Our client is a fast-growing, dynamic, privately owned company that specialises in the construction of large new build, super prime projects.

Due to continued expansion, we are looking to recruit an experienced Quantity Surveyor / Estimator with a successful track record of working on construction projects valued at £1m-£5m to assist with tenders and the delivery of new build projects.

Upon a tender's success, you will support the project managers in liaising with suppliers, subcontractors, and any other stakeholders as directed.

Interpret/measure drawings from concept designs through to full working construction drawings

* Attend client meetings and assist with the determination of project requirements, as and when required

* Manage, record and issue cost variations during and on completion the projects

* Complete detailed, trade-specific enquiries and accurately communicate relevant information to the various subcontractors

* Effectively and accurately communicate relevant information to the client and project team

* Minimum of five years experience in the construction industry

* Proficient in the use of Microsoft Word and Excel, Google Sheets and Documents

* Have a deep understanding of construction methods and materials

* Ability to send detailed, trade-specific enquiries and accurately communicate relevant information to the various subcontractors to ensure the accuracy of pricing

* Working knowledge of Contractor Foreman software

* Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Cost Management or a related field.

* Valid UK Driving licence

Full-Time position

Working Hours: Monday - Friday 8am - 4:30pm

Hybrid working - home/office

Competitive salary £40k - £55k (depending on experience and qualifications)
