Role Overview: As the Site Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all on-site activities related to the construction of the new build steel frame office blocks. Working closely with the project team, subcontractors, and stakeholders, you will ensure that work is carried out safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards of quality. Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage all aspects of the construction site, including coordination of subcontractors, scheduling of work activities, and implementation of health and safety procedures.
  • Oversee the construction of the two new office blocks, including steel frame erection, cladding, interior fit-out, and landscaping.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and consultants to ensure that design specifications are met and that work is carried out in accordance with regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor progress against established milestones and proactively identify and address any issues or delays.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure that work meets the required standards of quality and workmanship.
  • Maintain accurate records of site activities, including daily reports, progress photos, and as-built drawings.
  • Liaise with project managers and stakeholders to provide regular updates on project status and address any concerns or inquiries.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Site Manager on construction projects, with specific experience in new build steel frame developments preferred.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams to achieve excellence.
  • Excellent knowledge of construction methods, techniques, and best practices.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Valid CSCS card and relevant certifications.
