At Omeda Studios , we are a remote-first game development company passionately working on our debut title, Predecessor - our Action MOBA for PC and Consoles that is currently in Early Access. We are looking for skilled professionals eager to contribute their talents in creating and delivering engaging content for a game designed to entertain players for years. As a community-driven studio, our core mission is to develop games that resonate with our players. We firmly believe that incorporating community feedback is essential to crafting immersive gaming experiences that players simply won't want to pause.
Following the successful closure of a $20 million Series A funding round, Omeda Studios boasts a dynamic blend of seasoned industry professionals and talented community members. This role will have a legitimate voice in shaping the future of the Predecessor brand. process—working closely with marketing and cross-functional teams, as well
as senior leadership, to lead the development of our visual brand identity and create compelling marketing materials that captivate audiences and drive engagement. In addition to producing top-tier artwork, this role will involve mentoring and guiding junior artists and ensuring that all creative output aligns with our brand vision and standards. Brand Strategy: Collaborate with the marketing and creative teams to develop comprehensive brand strategies that effectively communicate our vision, values, and key messaging.
Brand Guides: Lead the creation and maintenance of brand guidelines, including visual elements, tone of voice, and brand personality, to ensure consistency across all marketing channels and touchpoints.
Graphic Design: Produce high-quality artwork and graphic designs for a wide range of marketing materials, including key art, social media assets, and advertising campaigns.
E ffectively explain your design choices, understand written project briefs, and absorb and implement feedback in a thoughtful manner.
Mentorship: Provide guidance, feedback, and mentorship to junior artists, helping them develop their skills and grow as professionals within the team.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, including game developers, writers, and marketing specialists, to ensure that all creative assets align with project goals and objectives.
Quality Assurance: Review and approve artwork produced by junior artists or external partners to ensure that it meets quality standards and adheres to brand guidelines.
Trend Analysis: Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in branding and marketing to continually refine and enhance our brand identity and creative processes.
5+ years of experience as a graphic designer, brand artist, or marketing artist, with a focus on branding and marketing within the video game industry.
~ Pr oven track record of creating compelling content, brand guides, and marketing materials that drive engagement and elevate brand perception.
~ Strong portfolio showcasing a diverse range of artwork, including branding, graphic design, and marketing campaigns.
~ Highly proficient with industry standard design tools including Miro, Adobe Creative Suite, and G Suite.
~ E xcellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to effectively mentor and collaborate with junior artists and cross- functional teams.
~ A passion for gaming and a deep understanding of video game culture, aesthetics, and player preferences. Experience with MOBA games a plus.
~ Ability to work on multiple projects with separate timelines in parallel, prioritizing daily work as needed to hit deadlines. Some of our projects spring up quickly and are done in a week, while others develop slowly and take years to come to life.

We’re looking for a diverse portfolio of digital, web, and in-game work that demonstrates your attention-to-detail and ability to expand concepts and brand identities across multiple mediums. Your portfolio should clearly show proficiency with typography, iconography, color theory, digital tools, and art direction.
