Our client, a leading global manufacturer, is seeking a proactive Business Finance Associate to join their dynamic team. This role is pivotal in driving financial efficiency and supporting strategic business operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze general ledger accounts to provide insights on spending patterns and variances.
  • Collaborate with business operations to monitor departmental expenditures and support budgeting processes.
  • Participate in cost-saving initiatives, production variance analysis, and inventory management.
  • Assist with audits, compliance, and financial reporting across various departments.
  • Support the manufacturing budget process
  • Participate in the costing process and provide coverage for other manufacturing facilities as needed.
  • Engage in cost savings initiatives, attend relevant meetings, and drive actionable outcomes.
  • Analyze scrap data and monitor the effectiveness of scrap reduction programs.
  • Assist with stock-taking processes
  • Participate in both external and internal audits, providing necessary documentation and support.
  • Assist in the preparation of VAT data.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in a fast-paced environment with challenging deadlines.
  • Background in manufacturing is preferred.
  • Early stages for CIMA desirable

Skills:

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and planning abilities.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly with advanced Excel skills.
  • Strong problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ability to prioritize, multitask, and maintain attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Self-motivated and flexible.
