We are proud to have been exclusively retained to work with this fast-growing food manufacturer to recruit a Business Development Manager based at their site in North Cambridgeshire.
Reporting directly to the Commercial Director and working within a small team you will have responsibility for winning commercially profitable new business and increasing revenue with existing clients as the key point of contact.
Develop and Implement the Sales strategy delivering the long-term objectives of the business
Manage their new business process from enquiry through to negotiation, offer and acceptance
Work with NPD teams to identify growth markets
Successful candidates must be able to demonstrate the experience and expertise of identifying, developing, winning and managing new business within the UK. You should have previously worked within in a similar Business Development position within the Food Manufacturing sector. Ideal candidates will also have a full understanding of end to end sales, project management and be degree qualified with a track record for entrepreneurialism.
In return, successful candidates for this Business Development Managers position will receive a strong basic renumeration of £40k - £50k with an OTE up to £80k. You will be working Monday - Friday 8am - 4.You will also receive a strong contributory pension and 28 days holiday.
