Randstad is a leading provider of fostering services dedicated to providing safe, nurturing environments for children in need. We are committed to supporting both children and families, ensuring positive outcomes and long-term stability.
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Qualified Social Worker to join our fostering team. Conducting assessments of prospective foster carers, including home visits and interviews.
Providing support and guidance to foster carers throughout the fostering process.
Liaising with other professionals and agencies involved in the care of children, including social workers, schools, and health professionals.
Undertaking regular visits and reviews with foster carers and children in placement.
Assessing and managing any risks or concerns relating to placements.
Participating in team meetings, case conferences, and training sessions as required.
Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records in line with regulatory requirements.
A recognized Social Work qualification and registration with Social Work England
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
A commitment to continuous professional development and a willingness to learn and grow in the role.
A valid driving license and access to a vehicle for work purposes (required).
