As our Finance Director, you will p rovide financial leadership to the Regional WREF Leadership Teams to ensure delivery of WREF strategic objectives and the business needs in a financially sustainable way.
Responsible for driving and championing a commercial mindset to ensure Opex and Capex delivery to budget. This role is also responsible for the financial support of Real Estate transactions in the regions plus strategic projects including option analysis, decision support and business case completion.
Member of the regional WREF regional leadership teams responsible for the facility management of approx. 60 commercial office sites - 12 fully WREF budgeted and approx. Support the Real Estate Strategy team to assess the financial business cases for all real estate transactions in the Americas /EMEA regions working to align stakeholders to find the best solution for the business and drive the business cases to full approval and execution.
Responsible for the correct, compliant accounting of all real estate transactions for commercial offices in WREF, working with corporate accounting teams to ensure accuracy and adherence to accounting standards.
Oversight of WREF Commercial offices budget for all planning & forecasting activities with an Opex budget of ~ £110m. Monitor and track risks and opportunities across the regions and ensure execution to meet ambitious Opex targets.
Work with the controllership team in Poznan to investigate anomalies/actions on a timely basis to ensure accurate financial results.
Driving commercial mindset and competence across WREF; Work with the WREF Capital Programmes Lead to ensure optimal capital resource allocation as part of the annual 3/1 Plan cycle for ~£40m BAU Capital plus strategic Projects. Provide financial support and insights for the WREF and Corporate CAB submissions.
Provide management and oversight of 2 FTEs as well as work closely with the Controlling team in Poznan Hub and Genpact.
Actively contribute to the culture agenda within Corporate Finance.
Experience as a Finance leader in a matrix organisation, working across borders and many internal teams.
Experience in writing business cases and Board papers and following to approval.
Strong skills in modelling, analysis, forecasting, strategic / scenario planning and decision making.
Financial reporting and analysis experience, ideally with commercial finance partnering experience
Strong commercial acumen
Strong analytical, investment appraisal and problem solving skills.
Track record of driving sound business decision making in relation to complex problems based on robust, impartial financial analysis.
Bridges communication gaps between finance and non-finance individuals
