A bit about us
Bio&Me are the fastest growing gut-health brand in the UK, supplying a range of ambient and chilled, delicious gut-healthy products to all the main retailers. You will be joining us at an exciting time - with our distribution growing on our current ranges and new launches planned for both ambient and chilled products through the second half of 2024 and into 2025.
The Role:
We are looking for an outstanding, highly organised and motivated Graduate with a passion for food and desire to pursue a career in the food industry to join our busy Operations team based in Chester. The role will support the breadth of our supply chain; from ingredients sourcing and management, recipes and New Product Development (NPD), customer orders through to working with our co-manufacturing partners, packaging suppliers, our logistics and warehousing partners through to delivery into customer’s depots. At all times, customer service is paramount, whether liaising with individual consumers or working tirelessly to provide 100% OTIF service to our retailers.
The position is a supporting role covering the following areas:
• Support to the Chief Operating Officer on business projects, this could include both NPD and packaging
• Management of the Hello inbox, dealing with day-to-day queries, consumer feedback and enquiries efficiently, professionally and cheerfully
• Supporting both chilled and ambient order processing, delivering 100% OTIF performance
• Planning regular product testing with external labs
• Conducting internal reviews of products / external when required
• Tracking pricing across our packaging and ingredients, helping sourcing/procurement when required
• Updating internal trackers and Key Performance Indicators for monthly board meetings
• General support for the wider Operations team when required
• Various office management tasks, when required
• Although we have tried to capture all the areas of the role, there are likely to be extra responsibilities in addition to those listed here
