My client is a leading PR agency with a strong presence in both Bristol and London, specialising in consumer and trade communication for large FMCG and food and drink clients. With a portfolio of diverse brands and a dynamic team of creative minds, they are dedicated to delivering innovative and impactful campaigns that drive results.

Role Overview:

I am seeking a talented PR Account Director to join the agency team in Bristol. As the PR Account Director, you will play a pivotal role in leading and developing client relationships, driving strategic planning, and overseeing the execution of campaigns. With a focus on FMCG and food and drink clients, you will leverage your expertise in both consumer and trade communication to deliver exceptional results. Additionally, your digital acumen will be crucial in integrating digital strategies into PR initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage client relationships, serving as the main point of contact for key accounts.
  • Develop and implement strategic PR plans that align with client objectives and drive measurable results.
  • Provide strategic counsel to clients on all aspects of PR, including media relations, content development, and digital communication.
  • Oversee the execution of PR campaigns, ensuring high-quality delivery on time and within budget.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams, including creative, digital, and account management, to develop integrated campaigns.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and insights to inform strategic recommendations and campaign development.
  • Mentor and coach junior team members, fostering a culture of growth and development within the agency.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of PR experience, within an agency environment.
  • Proven track record of success in consumer and trade communication, with experience working with FMCG and food and drink clients.
  • Strong digital skills, including knowledge of digital PR strategies, social media platforms, and content creation.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and persuasively.
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to think creatively and solve problems.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate others.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Bachelor's degree in PR, communications, marketing, or related field (preferred).
