Job Purpose Provide high level oversight of a busy audit function, ensuring effective communication on all aspects of audit compliance across the firmReview hot and cold audit and assurance filesIdentify new audit guidance and processes in line with the ever-evolving auditing standards, emerging trends, relevant issues, and review findingsManage relationships with external audit reviewersLead liaison with the ICAEW on audit compliance matters, including managing regulatory visits and implementing recommendationsMonitor audit training needs and champion professional development and skill sharing across the firmPlan and perform on-site audit due diligence visits and following up on post-completion file reviewsSet an example as a hands-on Director About This Firm
