ROLE - Private Wealth Paralegal LOCATION - London
We are looking for a competent self-starter to assist the Team Lead for Tax, Compliance and Disclosure and the wider Private Wealth team to deliver tax services, advice and guidance to clients. We work with a broad range of clients including individuals, trustees and beneficiaries as well as coprofessionals in other departments and from other organisations including administrators, banks, investment managers, financial advisors and accountants in relation to a range of Private Wealth related legal matters. As the role develops, there is a possibility of managing own caseload under supervision. There is also the requirement to support the wider Private Wealth team as and when needed.

Working with our Private Wealth team to assist with tasks such as trust accounts, estate accounts, charity accounts and rental accounts;
To take a proactive approach in building professional relationships with clients, coprofessionals and other contacts including HMRC;
Supporting the Team Lead for Tax, Compliance and Disclosure with completing annual accounts, tax returns and providing beneficiaries and their accountants with necessary information
Providing other ad hoc and regular assistance with charity administration and tax disclosure work; Entering accounting information into spreadsheets, reconciling accounts, and keeping detailed records of transactions to a high standard
Carrying out legal research;
Preparing legal documentation we well as document management, review and analysis; Previous experience of working in a legal or professional services;
Numeracy is essential and a basic understanding of Microsoft Excel ideal;
Technically competent in other Microsoft Office applications including Outlook;
Proficiency in using legal database software;
Flexible and can-do attitude and approach;
