Day Rate: Up to £800 Inside IR35 DOE
A leading Nordic bank requires a SAAS Information Security Consultant
Location: London/Manchester - Hybrid working pattern (1/2 a Week On-site)
Duration: 6 Months Rolling Contract
As part of the Information Security Secure Change Team, the Information Security Consultant (SaaS) will be an Information Security subject matter expert supporting a complex SaaS implementation. This will include defining Information Security and Privacy requirements, ensuring integrations with existing Bank platforms are implemented securely, supporting the secure transition (and if necessary transformation) of data between systems and defining operational security requirements (e.g. Logging, Monitoring and Alerting).
The main purpose of the Information Security Consultant (SaaS) role is to:
Act as an InfoSec subject matter expert for a complex SaaS implementation;
Assess whether the current (and proposed) configuration of the SaaS solution, along with any integrations, data transition/transformation and operational security meet the Bank’s security requirements, regulatory requirements and good industry practice;
Define, document and agree security improvements/enhanced configurations where these are necessary;
Represent Information Security with Business stakeholders as a trusted advisor, finding pragmatic and cost-effective security solutions that efficiently support customer needs.
Provide specialist advice as part of structured risk & control assessments, for example external supplier due diligence;
Information Security subject matter expert in complex SaaS implementations, including experience across multiple cloud technology areas
Solid, practical and demonstrable experience of information security (technical and non technical aspects), ideally with an understanding of privacy as it applies to sensitive personal data being migrated/transformed;
able to influence decision making to surface and mitigate issues and risks across a wide range of stakeholders;
pragmatic, and effectively balances risk and control requirements with commercial drivers;
Ability to articulate and document security requirements and risks so that they are accurate, auditable and understandable;
plan, organise and prioritise tasks and projects effectively
