Job Opportunity

We are currently working with a fast-growing Information Security consultancy, LT Harper - Cyber Security Recruitment, to find a contract Information Security Consultant to assist in delivering engagements around NIST.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver NIST Maturity Assessments and provide expert advice on Information Security frameworks (ISMS) such as NIST, CAF, and ISO27001.
  • Provide security consulting services to a wide range of industries, including document and policy reviews according to NIST.
  • Collaborate with clients to identify and mitigate Information Security risks, and develop strategies to improve their overall Information Security posture.
  • Conduct crisis incident exercises and incident management training to help clients prepare for and respond to security incidents.
  • Work closely with the consultancy team to deliver high-quality services to clients and meet project deadlines.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience delivering NIST Maturity Assessments and providing expert advice on Information Security frameworks.
  • Strong understanding of Information Security principles and practices, including NIST, CAF, and ISO27001.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and colleagues.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and ability to adapt to changing priorities.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate Information Security risks.

Contract Details:

  • 3-month rolling contract, with the possibility of extension.
  • Remote work arrangement, with occasional travel to London.
  • Competitive daily rate of £400-£450 (Outside IR35).
