The pub and location

Are you a sports enthusiast experienced in creating teams and driving local competition? If so, you’ll love the George.

Pool teams play at this wet-led venue weekly, and there’s a real opportunity to grow business here by introducing more sports teams.

The George is an open-plan trading operation with an attractive main bar area boasting a pool table and screens for viewing live TV sports.

Although there isn’t a kitchen, you can offer snacks whilst local teams compete. Outside, you’ll discover a patio trading area to the side of the pub and a clear opportunity to make more of the under-used garden area. A smoking solution is available, and there are parking spaces for four vehicles.

The George is located on a major road into Daventry and opposite a large, free car park, which also backs onto Daventry town centre shops. The savvy operator will market to the over 5,700 residents (from the Suburban Stability demographic group) living within half a mile of the pub.

Ideal operator

We’re seeking an experienced wet sales operator who can drive profit, grow sports teams, and host regular live entertainment.

Private accommodation

Your domestic accommodation would consist of four bedrooms, a lounge, and a kitchenette. We will ensure that this accommodation is in good order.

We love working with experienced entrepreneurs and we’re happy to be flexible with our agreements and products to match your business and vision.

Our Flexible Tenancy agreement offers a piece of mind approach to running your own pub business for a total term of up to 5-years with a flexible notice period. We also offer flexible deposit options, with build ups from as little as £1,000 as well as flexible price bands and release fees which are available.
