Position Overview
The Technical Safety Engineer role is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic individual to join our client's QSHE department. The successful candidate will manage the development, maintenance, review, update, and submission of Offshore Safety Cases and Onshore COMAH Safety Reports in support of the Southern North Sea (SNS) Operation.
Responsibilities
Maintain documentation for Safety Case Management.
Optimise the review process and schedule for all current safety cases and COMAH safety reports in line with compliance and relevant statutory requirements.
Coordinate the long-term review programme engaging key stakeholders
Organise and coordinate all material changes.
Work with the internal teams facilitate updates to existing CSR to address the requirements of planned work.
Collaborate with performance standard owners and engineers to make sure that the CSC/CSR is accurate and improved on a regular basis
Requirements
Higher technical qualification
10+ years experience with Oil and Gas Operators, COMAH sites or the Competent Authority
Demonstrable history of planning, cost control and document management processes
Understanding of COMAH regulations as well as PFEER, DSEAR, PSR etc.
Experience collaborating with the Competent Authority desirable but not essential
