Our Surrey Out of Hours (OOH) service is looking for an experienced operations professional to join their growing team. You will use your skills to develop the already established operation, this will include supervision of our remote operational staff.
The successful candidate will monitor and evaluate the performance of staff via appraisals and audits . You will also help with training and development activities where needed. Alongside this you will ensure rota times are compliant with business needs and National Quality Requirements (NQR's).
Reporting into the Lead Operations Supervisor you will work hand in hand in maintaining Practice Plus Groups high quality of service delivery . The main focus will be our patient experience whilst maximising resource utilisation.
This is a full time role (37.5 hours per week), 50% of your time will be spent during the evenings, weekends and bank holidays.

Responsible for recruitment, selection and induction including reviews of new Call Centre, Driver and Reception staff members including their on-going training.
Line management of operational staff in conjunction with our human resources policies, this will include performance management, time-keeping, sickness/leave monitoring and advance adjustments to the rota where necessary.
Ensuring operational staff fully understands the importance of their role in ensuring effective, efficient, caring, and positive delivery of service to the patient.
Carry out annual appraisal, specific staff role, and policy audits on all staff.
Maintain communication links between different operational staff and other Managers and Supervisors.
Work with the Service Manager, Clinical Lead and other managers/supervisors so that operational matters and clinical issues do not conflict and are understood.
To ensure efficient delivery of all operational areas are maintained: Call Centre, PCCs and Visiting.
Health and Safety is monitored within the operational areas on a regular basis.
Undertake training to become HSE Rep. Audit responsibilities in line with Practice Plus Group audit framework and lead on specific audit area/s.
Involvement in Fleet management as required.
Ensuring correct stock levels for all equipment and supporting stationary used in the delivery of OOH operational services.
Promotion of an environment of patient focus and ongoing quality improvement.
