Our Trainee Nursing Associate position is a developmental role in which you'll be working towards an NMC Registered Nursing Associate qualification.
Upon successful completion of the qualification we'll offer you a Nursing Associate role, giving you theopportunity to apply your new skills in a real work environment.
Our Trainee Nursing Associates work incredibly hard and are committed, motivated and eager to learn. Using knowledge gained from their apprenticeship studies, they're making a real difference in how they can support and care for our residents today and in the future.
You'll help us make health happen by:
Delivering high-quality person-centred care in line with personal care plans under the supervision of a Registered Nurse
Performing and recording clinical observations such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature blood sugar monitoring, oxygen stats and recognise any abnormalities which must then be reported to a registered nurse
Sharing information with registered nurses on any changes in health, behaviour, mood etc. Verbal and Written English to NMC required level
English and Maths qualification equivalent to GCSE grade C or above
Communication and relationship building
Planning and Organisation – particularly in relation to planning study and work time around personal life
Previous experience working in a care home or similar setting, or for providing care support to relatives or friends
