We are recruiting on behalf of our client – a leading logistics and freight firm located over the UK. This is a trainee HR role suitable for anyone with 6 months HR experience with the opportunity to become CIPD qualified.
Recruitment advertising, liaison with people partners and recruitment agencies as required.
Monitoring and reporting on temporary agency spend
Managing the onboarding cycle (drafting up offer letter, pension letters, contract of employment, adding new starters to the HRIS, undertaking reference checks, obtaining induction documents)
Ensuring the probation review tasks are allocated to the people partners
Chasing the employees and managers to ensure that all the information is received prior to payroll submission deadline
Updating the HR tracker and maintaining employee records and personnel files
Reviewing First Aider and Fire Marshal lists on quarterly basis and organising training when required
Providing an additional point of contact for general HR related issues signposting onwards to the people partners as appropriate
Support HR team with minute taking as required.
Assist the HR Team in other ad hoc duties as and when required.
Previous experience of working in a HR related role (6 months)
Highly computer literate with programmes such as word, excel, etc.
Able to work independently and as part of the HR team.
