Technical SEO Consultant
Agency - FMCG Client
London - Remote
£450-£500 per day (outside IR35)

A dymanic analytics agency is searching for a Technical SEO Consultant, where innovation meets creativity in the world of digital marketing. The agency specialises in partnering with leading FMCG clients to optimise their online presence and drive impactful results. As a technical SEO expert, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing our clients' digital footprint and ensuring their success in the competitive online landscape.

As a talented Technical SEO Consultant, you would collaborate with the agency team and FMCG client on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of technical SEO principles and best practices, coupled with a passion for delivering measurable results. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with a renowned FMCG brand, applying your expertise to drive organic traffic, improve website performance, and elevate overall SEO strategy.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive technical SEO audits to identify opportunities and areas for improvement on the client's website
  • Develop and implement strategic SEO recommendations to enhance website architecture, crawlability, and indexing efficiency
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure SEO best practices are integrated into website development projects, including site migrations and redesigns
  • Monitor website performance using SEO tools and analytics platforms, providing regular reports and insights to stakeholders
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and algorithm updates, continuously optimising SEO strategies to align with evolving search engine algorithms
  • Provide strategic guidance and recommendations to improve on-page optimisation, including meta tags, schema markup, and content structure
  • Act as a subject matter expert, offering insights and recommendations to internal teams and clients on SEO best practices and industry standards

Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience in technical SEO, with a track record of optimising websites for improved organic search visibility and performance
  • Deep understanding of search engine algorithms, website architecture, and technical SEO factors such as crawlability, indexation, and site speed
  • Proficiency in SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Moz, or similar platforms
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to drive informed SEO recommendations and strategies
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
  • Experience working with FMCG or consumer goods clients
