**Job Description**:
Role Summary

The SEO/SEM Specialist will execute effective search engine optimisation and marketing strategies to attract and engage prospects throughout the customer journey. This position will be responsible for strategic, operational and technical aspects of search marketing, including but not limited to ongoing research, optimisation, monitoring and reporting. The SEO/SEM Specialist will use analytic tools to review and refine the approach to ensure our websites in every region are optimised for search engines to expand awareness and help improve lead generation. This position will also support the marketing and technical teams ensuring best practices are properly utilised when developing content or functionality for the website.

The role is a 7 month Fixed Term Contract

The responsibilities of the individual in this position include:
Regulatory & Business conduct- Displaying exemplary conduct and living by our organisations Code of Conduct.- Taking personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct across the business.- Effectively and collaboratively identifying, escalating, mitigating and resolving risk, conduct and compliance.

SEO- Keyword and competitor research, content optimisation, monitoring, and reporting.- Improving search engine marketing by analysing SEO and PPC results and tests, gleaning insights and contributing new ideas for future enhancements.

Relationship Management- Maintaining relationships with clients, competitors, consultants, Russell CIOs, portfolio managers and business leads to help maintain Russell's market leading position and to continually improve the technical product as well our ability to position ourselves competitively.- Managing ongoing site audits and working with developers to implement required technical solutions.

Campaigns- Managing PPC campaigns.

Marketing Trends and best practice- Staying current with the latest trends in search marketing.-
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent is preferred.- Experience working in Marketing within the Asset Management industry is preferred.- Experience using Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and Search Engine Marketing (SEM) is required.- Past Website analysis experience using tools including Google Analytics is preferred.- Working knowledge of PPC programs and experience optimising data gathered from both organic and paid sources is required.- Content Management Systems experience (Sitecore preferred) is desired.- Familiarity with A/B and multivariate experiments.- Strong presentation and client services skills.- Able to confidently communicate and work with people from all levels of the business.- Able to analyse and conceptualise different situations and identify the underlying issues.- Good at promoting and facilitating the work of a group, as well as contributing as a productive member of the team..- Pays attention to detail and able to rectify mistakes quickly.- Effectively plans and controls major projects ensuring all goals are met.- Uses critical thinking to accomplish work tasks.
