We are seeking an experienced and proactive professional to join our dedicated workforce as Health and Safety Officer.

The Health and Safety Office will be responsible for coordinating, supporting and advising on all aspects of Health and Safety. Alongside key internal stakeholders they will contribute to and monitor standards, processes, communications, training and systems. The Health and Safety Officer will also develop a full programme of inspections, audits and checks and will be key in establishing and providing ongoing support for Health and Safety Champions throughout the organisation.

The ideal candidate must be a qualified in Health and Safety, NEBOSH preferred, with recent hands-on experience in a similar role. Ideally they will be familiar with social care or similar providers and comfortable with supporting a multi-site organisation. We are looking for someone who is comfortable as a lead competent person in Health and Safety. You’ll have an up to date knowledge of legislation and be confident communicating with a wide variety of internal and external stakeholders and able to alter your tone and style accordingly.
