Job Description

Reporting to the GBS Head of Business Process Excellence, the GBS Head of Process Architecture & Design is a leadership role, accountable for the effective design, development and introduction of new GBS services.

In particular, this is largely focused on pro-active development of new Order-to-Cash functionality, including CRM integration, online payment facilities, etc. The Technology Services and Support function (TSS) within Global Support has built up strength and leadership in enterprise architecture and solution architecture over the recent past, with significant plans to build and develop new O2C platforms and solutions. GBS needs to recruit/build corresponding skills and resources in order to partner with TSS. Key to this partnership is to build equivalent strength and capability in solution design, services design, and controls design.

Qualifications

Skills & Abilities

  • Service and solutions-focussed leader with experience in a complex organisation and with developing processes, services and support models.
  • Proven ability to work to stringent deadlines.
  • Ability to lead, oversee, motivate and manage people in a complex finance/business environment.
  • Highly organised, diligent with attention to detail and the ability to maintain these skills whilst working under pressure.
  • Experience in change management, service and process design and service introduction.
  • Excellent relationship management skills.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Flexible and adaptable.

Knowledge & Qualifications

  • Qualified accountant preferred.
  • Good knowledge of order-to-cash processes and solutions, tax requirements, financial control principles and accounting practices.
  • Experience of managing a team.
