Cleveland Clinic London are looking to recruit a Theatre Scheduling Coordinator to join our Theatres team, with a competitive salary range on offer.

This is a full-time role with the following shift patterns: Monday – Friday, 09:00-17:00, based on-site.

As the Theatre Scheduling Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in Peri-Operative Operations group by supporting the productivity and efficiency of scheduling and capacity in the Peri-operative areas. You will be responsible for the day-to-day capacity management ensuring all ad hoc availability and fixed schedules are coordinated in an efficient and effective way. The role requires regular monitoring and identification of both facilitators and barriers to theatre utilisation, along with timely coordination of actions to mitigate obstacles and optimise facilitators.

What will your duties include?

  • Work closely supporting the Theatre Operational Group to coordinate all clinical activity to maximise efficiency.

  • Provide effective communication with team members and other departments to ensure an efficient service is maintained.

  • Assist the Theatre Manager in achieving performance targets.

  • Work collaboratively with other team leaders in the theatre department in the daily running and organisation of theatre activity and provide support in clinical areas as appropriate and necessary.

  • Other duties assigned.

What we need from you?

  • Substantial track record in scheduling and administration .

  • Experience of working in a healthcare setting .

  • Experience of attaining credibility with senior colleagues e.g. consultant medical staff .

  • Previous experience in a similar role ( Desirable ).

  • Basic IT skills (e.g., MS Office and MS Teams).
