Reporting to the Regional commercial Sales Managers the Account Executive is part of the Watson Sales Team, a dynamic sales environment with responsibility for driving fuel sales throughout our Commercial sector specifically working towards growth both in terms of market share and profitability.

Key responsibilities:

  • Taking inbound calls from customers.
  • Negotiating to win business and cross selling associated products.
  • Making outbound calls to grow sales and to maintain and retain existing customers
  • Liaise with Customers, Depots and Operational Personnel
  • Process orders from customers
  • Achieve highest standards in customer excellence and adhere to customer complaints procedures wherever required
  • Updating orders, prices and order confirmations in the Company’s systems
  • Accountability for sales growth in terms of both volume and gross margin
  • Providing daily assistance to the sales team

Skills and Qualifications

  • Work experience gained in a customer services role is essential and a desire to build a career in telephone sales
  • A passion to build a career in sales and strong customer service skills and experience are required.
  • Telephone sales or telephone based customer services experience is desirable.
  • Excellent customer service skills are essential
  • Strong written and oral communication skills are essential.
  • Strong attention to detail is essential
  • Strong data entry skills and high levels of accuracy are essential
