Head Driver Trainer

Today, Acclaim has grown from its original headquarters in Purfleet, Essex, to an award-winning national company with over 150 staff and eight regional support centres. A new position has arisen in our Purfleet Depot For a Head Driver Trainer (RTITB).

Taking responsibility for the day to day running of the operational side of the Driver Training Department and all that it entails. This role will not include responsibility of the department office administration tasks.

Monday to Friday

40 hours per week (reasonable flexibility can be agreed on start and finish time)

To expand and grow the Driver Training department

* Recruitment of new Driver Trainer staff when necessary, including writing of job description and advert, induction of staff and training

* Keep up to date with legislation and any changes that may arise to training and Health & Safety

* Look after key accounts

* Develop Driver Trainer Instructors and ensure their training is up to date

* Deal with any topics that may arise, staff, company vehicles, etc.

* Carry out Appraisals and pay reviews for the Team of Driver Trainers annually

* Carry out driver training sessions as required and where required

Fork truck driver experience
