As a Senior PPC Executive , you will lead our Pay-Per-Click (PPC) advertising strategy, focusing on Google Ads, Bing Ads and Apple Search ads. You will play a critical role in driving our customer acquisition and digital marketing efforts, optimizing our campaigns to achieve maximum ROI. This position reports directly to the Director of Digital Marketing and works closely with other team members across the marketing department.
Key Responsibilities:
1. PPC Strategy Development and Execution:
Comprehensive Campaign Planning: Develop a strategic plan for PPC campaigns that aligns with the company's business objectives, targeting the most effective keywords and audience segments.
Budget Management: Allocate and manage a substantial PPC budget across different platforms, ensuring optimal spend for the best return on ad spend (ROAS).
Campaign Setup and Management: Oversee the creation and management of campaigns, including setting up account structures, ad groups, and tracking systems on Google Ads and Bing Ads.
2. Performance Optimization and Scaling:
Continuous Optimization: Use ongoing testing and optimization strategies such as split-testing ad copy, keywords, and landing pages to improve campaign performance.
Data-Driven Decisions: Analyze performance data to understand the effectiveness of different campaigns and strategies. Use insights to scale successful campaigns and pause or adjust underperforming ones.
Innovative Approaches: Experiment with new and emerging PPC features and technologies to stay ahead of the curve and outperform competitors.
3. Analytics and Reporting:
Advanced Analytics: Dive deep into analytics to understand user behavior and conversion patterns. Make data-driven decisions to refine targeting and bidding strategies.
Performance Reporting: Develop regular reports detailing campaign performance, insights, and strategic recommendations. Communicate these findings clearly to senior management and relevant stakeholders.
KPI Monitoring: Monitor key performance indicators such as click-through rates, conversion rates, and ROAS to evaluate campaign success and areas for improvement.
5. Industry Trends and Compliance:
Stay Informed: Keep abreast of the latest industry trends and updates in PPC and digital marketing. Attend webinars, conferences, and workshops to continually enhance skills and knowledge.
Regulatory Compliance: Especially critical in the online gambling industry, ensure all campaigns comply with local and international advertising standards and regulations.
Skills and knowledge required
- Proven experience in independently delivering successful end-to-end PPC campaigns, preferably in a user acquisition-based industry.
- Proven track record of achieving conversion-based KPI targets.
- Deep knowledge of data tools and confidence in deriving insights from data to assist in decision-making.
- Agile and ambitious, with the ability to work in a fast-paced team and under pressure.
- Effective team player with the ability to collaborate with the wider Marketing, Development, and Design teams.
- Superb initiative with a growth mindset; able to design and implement A/B testing to drive growth.
- Stay up to date of industry changes and trends in PPC.
- Knowledge of tracking and measurement is preferred.
- Experience or passion for App Acquisition is preferred.
