YouTube Channel Manager:

£35 - £45K base + benefits

My client is a dynamic and innovative] company dedicated to creating entertaining YouTube content in the automotive and lifestyle space. We are seeking a creative and results-driven YouTube Marketing Manager to join our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity to lead our YouTube content strategy, optimise video performance, and enhance audience engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

Content Strategy:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive YouTube content strategy aligned with overall marketing goals and driving greater viewership
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistency in messaging and brand identity across all content.

YouTube Thumbnail Design Strategy:

  • Conceptualise and implement effective thumbnail design strategies to increase click-through rates (CTRs) and video visibility.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and design best practices to keep thumbnails visually appealing and engaging.

Video Analytics and Optimisation:

  • Utilise YouTube analytics tools to assess video performance, audience demographics, and viewer behaviour.
  • Generate actionable insights and recommendations to optimize content for better engagement and reach.

SEO and Keywords Optimisation:

  • Conduct thorough keyword research to enhance video discoverability and ranking on YouTube.
  • Implement SEO best practices to improve video visibility in search results and related content recommendations.

Audience Engagement:

  • Foster audience interaction and community growth by responding to comments, messages, and feedback.
  • Implement strategies to increase subscriber count, likes, shares, and overall engagement metrics.

Collaboration and Cross-functional Communication:

  • Work closely with the creative team, video production team, and other relevant departments to ensure a cohesive content strategy.
  • Collaborate with influencers and partners for cross-promotion opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a YouTube Marketing Manager or a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of YouTube algorithms, analytics, and SEO best practices.
  • Proficiency in graphic design tools for creating engaging thumbnails.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Creative mindset with the ability to think outside the box.

Additional Skills:

  • Familiarity with video editing tools and techniques.
  • Experience with A/B testing and data-driven decision-making.
  • Passion for staying updated on industry trends and emerging platforms.
  • Ability to analyse competitor channels and market trends.
