We are currently on the lookout for an Apprentice IT Support Executive to join our IT team at Snows Group based in Southampton.

We are looking for a bright and enthusiastic candidate to join us as an apprentice. You will gain valuable skills, knowledge, and experience as you complete the IT apprenticeship including multiple industry-leading qualifications like CompTIA A+. Each of these components will help you to establish a strong foundation within the IT industry from which you can grow your career.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the IT team in resolving technical issues
  • Creating incident tickets for all technical issues raised to the helpdesk
  • Troubleshooting hardware issues with the support of the IT team
  • Processing new starters and leavers
  • Building and configuring desktops and laptops from our build station
  • Reporting monitoring system notifications and alarms to IT Management
  • Participating in weekly team meetings
  • Working closely with other team members to complete projects

Desired Qualities, Skills, and Knowledge:

  • Enthusiastic with a desire to learn, improve and progress
  • A logical approach to troubleshooting technical issues
  • Confident in working independently and as part of the team
  • Any IT Experience would be advantageous but not required
  • A full UK Driving Licence would be advantageous but not required

Further Details:

  • Apprenticeship Duration: 16 – 24 Months - Depending on Current Qualifications
  • Location: Snows Motor Group Head Office, Millbrook, Southampton
  • Working Hours: Monday to Friday 8.30 am to 5.00 pm – 1 Hour Lunch

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Right to Work in the UK

Entry Requirements for Level 3 Apprenticeship:

  • Prospective apprentices must not hold an existing qualification at the same or higher level as this apprenticeship is in a similar subject
