Job Reports To: HR Director.
Vacancy Type: Full-time or Part-time (3 days min) & Hybrid working.
Foleshill Road, Coventry and remotely.
Temporary 3 to 6 months / Contract or Fixed Term Appointment.

We are looking for a HR Project Manager/Specialist who can quickly adapt and is keen to take on an exciting challenge with passion and determination in a fast-paced environment. Commitment to high performance standards is also essential. This is an office-based role (in Coventry some of the week), but hybrid working is available, subject to the work undertaken. Contractors will not be eligible for any additional benefits, but anyone joining on a Fixed-term appointment (3-month contract only) will be eligible for our benefits package.

Project management of complex employee relations matters (including M&A & TUPE)
Lead formal matters (Discipline, Grievance, Performance Management & Absence Management)
Change management initiatives.
Compensation and benefits, formulating options and recommendations, as well as benchmarking.
Support HRD, HRM, and Executive with defined HR projects.

The job holder must be fully CIPD qualified and have significant HR experience to pick-up the wide-ranging requirements of the function, including M&A, TUPE, and complex employee relations matters. Being comfortable operating at all levels and working in a fully standalone role is essential.

Organisational skills – personal efficiency, time management skills, and the ability to prioritise competing demands are key.

Communication skills – interfacing with employees at all levels with diverse personalities and viewpoints, the job holder must have strong emotional intelligence and the ability to build relationships and collaborate with others.

Commercial acumen – supporting the HRD and Executive in strategic decision-making and being able to understand company finances and the ultimate aims of the business.

With limited HR and admin support in place, the role holder will need to be comfortable managing their own HR administration.
