RPS has an exciting opportunity for a Delivery Manager to join our Water Consulting business. This is a senior-level position and will deliver and build upon our existing frameworks and relationships with utility companies across Scotland.
As a key member of the Water Consultancy business, your role as Delivery Manager is critical to helping us deliver great projects for our Water Industry clients. You will be working alongside a multi-disciplinary team of water project experts on a range of capital delivery projects.
As well as supporting the day-to-day operations, the Delivery Manager will support, develop, and manage growth within the team.

Manage the delivery within our Water Consultancy.
· Manage the health, safety, and well-being of our field-based teams.
· Deliver a high level of customer service to our external and internal customers.
· Manage the day-to-day running of field staff members initially, with a view to this increasing in line with our growth plan.
Ideally based in the central belt, the successful applicant will be experienced in highway working NRSWA Signing Lighting & Guarding qualification.
· Experience and awareness of managing work in high-risk environments highways.
· Team leadership - experience of successfully leading integrated/blended/diverse/multidisciplinary teams to deliver complex project outputs and programme outcomes.
· Communication – high emotional intelligence - listens and questions effectively, concise verbal and written communication skills.
· You will have extensive experience in the leadership and management of field-based teams, ideally gained in the utility service industry or similar and will have the ability to deliver results in an often unpredictable, operational environment.
· You will have proven experience managing performance and able to implement change.
· Proficient in the use of the MS office suite, work management systems and applications are essential.
· A full UK driving license is also essential.
