About the Role We have an exciting opportunity to become part of our in-house team of customer support helpdesk advisors here at James Hall & Co. Our aim is to provide and deliver a fantastic service to our current and potential retailers as well as suppliers and the public. Here’s What You Can Expect to be Doing As a key member of our Customer Support Hub, you’ll handle a variety of tasks ranging from resolving customer issues and enquiries to troubleshooting IT-related problems. Your responsibilities will include: Providing first-line support for customer queries. Utilising problem-solving skills to address incidents promptly, including IT support issues such as till problems, software queries, and network outages. Communicating effectively with customers and internal teams using various platforms, including email, Microsoft Teams, and telephone and face-to-face. Accurately documenting and managing incidents, liaising with internal and third-party teams to ensure swift resolution. Contributing to our company's reputation for excellent customer service through your dedication and professionalism. A few things about you… We're seeking individuals with a passion for customer service and a keen interest in IT support. While prior experience in a contact centre or IT support environment is desirable, it's not essential as full training will be provided. Key attributes we're looking for include: Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to addressing customer issues. A good foundation in IT skills, with a willingness to learn and develop in this area. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and work effectively under pressure. Why us?
