This role is suited to a clinical nurse specialist with an interest in immunotherapy but also service evaluation and leadership.


This role will offer the postholder the opportunity to develop their service improvement skills whilst also practicing clinically. The post holder will provide effective clinical leadership, be highly visible, have an authoritative presence and be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality care. They will ensure that the needs of the patient are placed at the centre of care delivery in both the inpatient and outpatient settings.


Audit and data collection to measure the performance and effectiveness of the nurse led Immunotherapy service which will be crucial in the development of further business cases to expand the service.
Provision of training and education to the Multidisciplinary team in the care of the patient receiving Immunotherapy.

Advanced communication skills training

Non-medical prescribing qualification
Level 2 psychological skills training

Completed Honours Degree in Nursing, midwifery, research or ethics
Completed or working towards a Masters Degree in nursing, midwifery, research, ethics or relevantsubject.

Evidence of developing & leading nurse led clinics / services
