The role

Reporting to the Director of Strategic Partnerships and Market Engagement, our Junior Sales Executive will generate new business opportunities by creating targeted campaigns in conjunction with our marketing team, qualifying warm inbound leads and creating opportunities by proactive outreach to new and existing clients. This is a phone call-heavy role and requires minimum 2 days per week in our Llanelli office.

Key responsibilities

  • Drive proactive targeted outreach to prospects to build strong sales pipelines.
  • Collaborate with marketing to create sales and marketing campaigns
  • Offer initial solution overview and help identify customer goals/challenges.
  • Delivery a high standard of engagement to potential customers.
  • Book appointments for potential customers and product SMEs, ensuring the SME is educated on customer requirements and particularities.
  • Maintain documentation of agreements, opportunities, and wider conversations.
  • Positively participate in celebrating team success, driving enthusiasm and commitment to achieving overall business strategy and goals.

Key skills and experience required

  • Previous experience in sales or business development, specifically in an outbound phone-based role.
  • Target driven with demonstrable experience of working to, and exceeding sales targets.
  • Confident prospecting cold or lapsed clients.
  • A proactive and curious approach to speaking with customers, gathering requirements and offering solutions.
  • Solid relationship building skills, both with customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Eager to learn, develop and grow, and keen to learn from those around you.
