JOB OVERVIEW

As the Event Manager at Spook, you will play a pivotal role in managing and executing luxury events, from concept to completion. You’ll ensure that each event is delivered to the highest standard, reflecting the quality and sophistication our brand is known for. Working closely with our clients, chefs, and operational teams, you will manage the entire event lifecycle, ensuring client satisfaction, smooth logistics, and flawless delivery.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Event Planning & Execution : Oversee the planning and delivery of luxury events, ensuring each event meets the client's vision and expectations.
  • Client Liaison: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, managing relationships, and providing a quality service throughout the event process.
  • Budget Management: Create and manage event budgets, ensuring financial efficiency while maintaining the highest quality standards.
  • Venue & Supplier Coordination : Liaise with external venues and suppliers to ensure all elements of the event come together seamlessly.
  • Team Management : Lead on-site event staff, ensuring clear communication, direction, and coordination for smooth event execution.
  • Problem Solving : Anticipate and resolve any challenges that arise during planning or execution, ensuring minimal disruption and client satisfaction.
  • Post-Event Analysis : Conduct post-event evaluations, gather feedback, and work with the operations team to continuously improve service delivery.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in event management, ideally within luxury catering or high-end hospitality sectors.
  • Client-Centric Approach : Ability to manage high-profile clients with professionalism, discretion, and finesse.
  • Budgeting Skills : Strong financial acumen with experience managing event budgets.
  • Excellent Communication : Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with a focus on client service.
  • Leadership Ability: Experience leading and motivating a team in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Attention to Detail: Impeccable attention to detail and a passion for delivering exceptional, bespoke experiences.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required by event schedules.
  • Knowledge of London’s Event Scene : Familiarity with high-end venues, suppliers, and event trends.
