Our client is a leading manufacturer of automated machinery and due to their continued success Staffbase have been appointed to recruit for the position of Technical Sales Manager.

The Role:

Reporting to the Directors you will be responsible for performing effective business development activities to promote machinery sales throughout the UK.

Duties will include but is not limited to the following;

  • Sales and business development activities including prospecting, sales calls and marketing work as required
  • Develop and follow-up sales enquires and undertake client visits
  • Liaise with external client and internal technical teams to establish and specify machinery suitable for customer requirements
  • Attend product / trade exhibitions & events
  • Provide regular sales activity reports to directors

Candidate:

We are seeking candidates who have previous experience in sales of cap ex machinery and applicants with knowledge of food packaging and /or processing machinery would be beneficial.

You will have a strong sales background and you will be capable of robust technical discussions to promote the sale of machinery.

You will display the personality and qualities associated with a successful sales professional.
You must be prepared to undertake extensive travel throughout the UK as part of your role.

Monday to Friday
