About the role: We are seeking a passionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant with a specialisation in SEMH needs to join our team on a full-time basis. The salary for this position ranges from £85 to £100 per day, commensurate with experience. This role is available due to the expansion of our SEN provision, highlighting our commitment to enhancing support for our students. You will be working closely with a small class size of up to 10 students, providing individualized support and encouragement to help them thrive academically and emotionally.   • A minimum of Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent).
  • Previous experience working with children, particularly those with SEMH needs.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with students.
  • Patience, empathy, and a proactive approach to supporting children’s learning and emotional well-being.
  • A commitment to fostering an inclusive environment that promotes respect and understanding.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Providing tailored support to students with SEMH needs, both in and out of the classroom.
  • Collaborating with teachers to develop and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) for students.
  • Assisting in the delivery of engaging lessons and activities that cater to diverse learning styles.
  • Monitoring and assessing students’ progress, providing feedback to help them succeed.
  • Supporting positive behavior management strategies to encourage a safe and supportive classroom environment.
