The role available is for an exceptional Computer Vision Machine Learning Engineer (MLE) to join the research team in Oxford, England.

### Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will contribute to the development of leading-edge motion capture products with a strong focus on research innovation. You will have the opportunity to influence technical direction, propose new research areas, and potentially lead your own projects. The position offers a hybrid working environment, combining on-site and home-based work, with the head office located in the vibrant academic city of Oxford.

### Required Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise

**Qualifications:**

- Relevant academic background (research Masters/PhD level) and/or industry experience.

**Essential Skills:**

- Proven experience in solving computer vision problems, such as object detection and human pose estimation, using machine learning methods like CNNs and ViTs, alongside non-ML algorithms.

- Demonstrated expertise in modelling human and object shape, appearance, and movement.

- Strong team collaboration skills.

- Experience working with large spatio-temporal datasets and applying machine learning to time-series domain issues.

- Proficiency in Python and ML toolkits, such as PyTorch and Lightning.

**Desirable Skills:**

- Peer-reviewed publications in relevant conferences or journals.

- Experience in the full ML development lifecycle, from research prototypes to production-ready systems.

- Interest and experience in human motion capture, sports, and animation tools and techniques.

- Familiarity with C++.
