Position Overview:
We are looking for an accomplished Flexcube Technical Consulting Manager with hands on years of experience in Oracle FLEXCUBE core banking implementations. The ideal candidate will have deep technical knowledge of FLEXCUBE, strong experience in core banking solutions, and a proven track record in leading technical projects. If you are passionate about leveraging your expertise to drive innovation and enhance core banking systems, we would love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and development of core banking solutions using Oracle FLEXCUBE, focusing on FCUBS 14.5 version and above.
- Oversee the migration of FLEXCUBE systems from lower versions to higher versions, ensuring seamless transitions and minimal disruptions.
- Utilize technical knowledge of standalone OBCL, OBPM, OBTR, OBTF, FCUBS Core, and ELCM for effective system management and implementation.
- Design and implement microservices and APIs for FLEXCUBE-based products, including OBLO, OBTFPM, OBCFPM, and external REST services.
- Manage and customize FLEXCUBE and OBMA solutions to meet specific client needs.
- Architect and develop analytical data models for Oracle FLEXCUBE, including data warehouse systems and entity relationship diagrams.
- Demonstrate proficiency in core Java, Spring Boot, PL/SQL, and Oracle SQL, and apply this knowledge to core banking solution design.
- Handle installations, interfaces (e.g., ATM Queues), and APIs, ensuring robust system integration and functionality.
- Utilize Oracle Banking extensibility (OBX) and ELCM to enhance system capabilities.
- Provide hands-on expertise in SQL, PL/SQL, RDBMS, and data warehouse technologies (e.g., Oracle, MS SQL).
- Coordinate with offshore development and support teams for technical deliverables, including customizations, patch sets, and fixes.
- Support scheduled weekend activities such as BCM testing and data center power downs.
- Follow defined standards, tools, processes, and change control steps to achieve high-quality deliverables that meet audit compliance expectations.
- Communicate effectively with various stakeholders, providing clear updates, status reports, and root cause analysis for production incidents.
- Maintain high energy levels, attention to detail, and a collaborative approach within the team.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Banking, or a related field.
- Hands on years of total experience with years of focused experience in Oracle FLEXCUBE core banking projects.
- Proven experience in core banking solution design, data warehouse architecture, and implementation.
- Strong technical skills in Oracle DB, Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, Java, JavaScript, XML, Unix shell scripting, and microservices.
- Hands-on expertise in deployments, backup, restore operations, and source control tools.
- Certified Oracle Database PL/SQL Developer Professional and Oracle Database SQL Certified Associate.
- Previous experience with banking solutions and engagement with offshore development and support teams.
- Strong problem-solving skills, analytical abilities, and the capacity to work in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.
- Fluency in English and excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- ITIL v3 Foundation accreditation is an added advantage.
