Job description
Our client is a family owned and managed business that provide sales, service and parts support for AGCO derived products. They are seeking a self-motivated Territory Parts Representative to Assist their busy parts department based at their client’s depot to further strengthen their customer and aftersales support. The role will be based externally across Staffordshire, Derbyshire and surrounding areas, using a department company vehicle.
The role:
- Promoting and selling of Parts and Groundcare equipment internally and externally.
- To profitably develop the assigned area by selling the parts department and its range of products.
- To actively develop a detailed customer database for your assigned area.
- Dealing with customers, by telephone and face to face on site, offering excellent customer service.
- To ensure the company delivers the very best in customer satisfaction.
- To communicate with the Parts staff to keep on top of your customers engagement within store.
- Assist the Parts team with annual housekeeping such as stock taking.
- Providing general support to the parts manager.
Requirements:
- A background in agricultural, automotive or construction parts essential
- Positive with a “can do” attitude
- A full clean UK driving licence
- Sales and Customer service experience essential
- The ability to demonstrate your understanding of our products to internal and external customers
- Experience in working alone as well as part of a team
- IT Literate (Excel, Word, Outlook) with experience in the use of Electronic parts catalogues (EPC’s)
- Experience in using IBCOS/Kerridge dealer management software desirable but not essential as training will be given.
