Business Development Manager

Our client is one of the UK's leading suppliers of artificial grass for the construction and landscaping industries. Since 1998 they have been selling their range of products through the merchants and direct to contractors and large commercial construction projects. Due to continued growth, they are looking to add a Sales Executive, responsible for new business and growing business from their existing accounts.
The Role: * You will be selling artificial grass and accessories to landscapers, builders' merchants, commercial customers such as building contractors, playground companies, events companies etc. * They currently operate throughout the North West, but will be looking to grow the service across a larger area, as they develop the customer base. * You will be required to find and bring in new customers on a monthly basis as well as maintaining a good working relationship with your existing customers. * You will also be required to manage numerous trade accounts, process orders and take payments, as well as sending out sample packs and providing customers with knowledge on products and installation processes. * Part of the role will involve visiting customers and conducting site surveys to put together and installation quotations for customers. The Candidate: * You will have a minimum of 2 years sales experience within hte construction or landscaping industries * You must be able to commute daily to their offices in Chelford, Cheshire * Experience of new business and account management * Ambitious and sales driven * Has a driving license The have a family-like bond with their colleagues and work in a fast-paced, fun, and friendly environment.
