What Will You Be Doing?
- Shaping and executing the Technical Marine Procurement strategy in collaboration with the Head of Procurement.
- Providing support to the fleet of vessels and technical teams.
- Leading, coordinating, and coaching the team to achieve operational and financial metrics.
- Building and maintaining relationships with stakeholders to facilitate performance and delivery.
- Setting and driving key performance indicators for cost optimization and continuous improvement.
- Managing the annual Technical Procurement budget and forecasts.
Are You the Ideal Candidate?
- 10+ years of extensive experience in Marine Procurement at a regional/global level.
- Proven track record of delivering effective and commercially beneficial outcomes.
- Demonstrated experience in negotiation with global suppliers and vendors.
- Strong market awareness and understanding of maritime supply chain components, regulations, and market conditions.
- Forward-thinking approach to procurement, systems, and controls.
- Experience in change management and system implementations preferred.
- Highly developed leadership and team management skills.
- Ability to build and sustain relationships with stakeholders, even in challenging situations.
