Financial Planning & Analysis Manager Location: Mixed (Remote and Office Based – Oxford, 2 days per week in office) 
Reporting in to:  Interim CFO 
Contract Type: Permanent 
Cristal Health Limited (trading as Akrivia Health) has been established as a spin out company by the University of Oxford. Akrivia Health’s primary purpose is to help to accelerate improvements in medical research, service delivery and health outcomes for patients with mental illnesses and dementia through the provision of advanced data analytics services. As we expand, we are seeking a talented and driven FP&A Manager to join our dynamic team and contribute to our financial strategy and planning. 
 
 
Lead the annual budgeting process, including developing templates, coordinating with various departments, and consolidating financial plans. 
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial forecasts. 
Conduct variance analysis and identify key drivers of financial performance. 
Develop and maintain financial models to support strategic initiatives and business cases. 
Prepare and present monthly management accounts to senior management, highlighting key insights and recommendations. 
Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational metrics to drive business performance. 
Incrementally improve and where applicable implement new financial systems. 
Develop, map and maintain finance master data. 
Develop, implement and maintain project costing initiatives. 
Lead the delivery of R&D tax credit compilation at year end and implement a time management system to feed into project costing. 
Research and manage finance governance when setting up legal entities internationally as required. 
Provide ad-hoc financial analysis to support decision-making processes. 
Business partner with department heads and project managers to ensure alignment of financial goals with business objectives. 
Support strategic planning initiatives by providing financial insights and recommendations. 
Act as a key point of contact for financial queries and support within the organisation. 
Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices in financial planning and analysis. 
Enhance financial systems and tools to streamline reporting and analysis. 
Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies. 
Support external audits and regulatory reporting requirements. 
 
A qualified CIMA accountant with experience in healthcare technologies 
Experienced in Project costing 
Experienced in managing multiple legal entities and have consolidated accounts 
Very good financial system knowledge 
Have business partnered with commercial and experienced in sales analysis and revenue recognition 
Excellent financial modeler and able to conduct “what ifs”
