Financial Planning & Analysis Manager

Mixed (Remote and Office Based – Oxford, 2 days per week in office)

Cristal Health Limited (trading as Akrivia Health) is a spin-out company from the University of Oxford dedicated to accelerating advancements in medical research, service delivery, and health outcomes for patients with mental illnesses and dementia through advanced data analytics services.

We are looking for an FP&A Manager to join our team and play a key role in shaping our financial strategies and plans. As the FP&A Manager, you will:

  • Lead the annual budgeting process, collaborating with different departments and consolidating financial plans.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial forecasts.
  • Analyze variances and identify key drivers of financial performance.
  • Develop financial models to support strategic initiatives and business cases.
  • Present monthly management accounts, offering insights and recommendations.
  • Monitor KPIs and operational metrics to enhance business performance.
  • Improve financial systems and implement new tools where necessary.
  • Assist in R&D tax credit compilation and time management system implementation.
  • Manage finance governance for international legal entities.
  • Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis to aid decision-making processes.
  • Collaborate with department heads and project managers to align financial goals with business objectives.
  • Support strategic planning initiatives with financial insights.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.
  • Enhance financial systems and tools for streamlined reporting and analysis.
  • Provide support for external audits and regulatory reporting requirements.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices.
  • Requirements:

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • CIMA qualified accountant with healthcare technologies experience.
  • Proficient in Project costing and managing multiple legal entities.
  • Strong financial system knowledge.
  • Experience in business partnering, sales analysis, and revenue recognition.
  • Skilled in financial modeling and scenario analysis.
