Reflections Academy in Birmingham City Centre is home to hundreds of students starting their careers in Hairdressing, Barbering and beyond. In this exciting and fulfilling role as Learner Engagement/Enrolment Co-ordinator based at the Academy you will:

• Work with young people and support them by securing apprenticeships or full-time programmes.• Liaise with employers and support candidates by securing their employment, working with new and existing employers/partners.• Play a pivotal role in shaping the future for our learner’s journey into their chosen career path.• Be responsible for attracting learners who are eager to embark on a journey of Hairdressing and/or Barbering.• Build and maintain relationships with learners at the start of their educational journey by providing guidance, support and resources to reach their goals.• Conduct one-to-one consultations with potential learners to understand their goals assessing their needs and aspirations and matching them with the most suitable courses or securing employment.• Arrange, plan and organise events, welcome days and open days, offering a flexible approach and embracing the business needs.• Work closely with the Director and Management Team in promoting continuous improvements.• Collaborate with our Marketing Team to create a seamless learner starting point along with attending recruitment events/workshops.• Monitor and analyse learner engagement and recruitment data to continually improve strategies and results.

To excel in this role you will need:

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organisational and analytical abilities.
  • A passion for education and helping learners achieve their goals.
  • Be able to provide timely information
  • Support throughout the Learner and Employer’s process to ensure that recruitment targets are met.
  • Preferred experience working within a training environment, hold a driving licence with access to own vehicle.
  • Good use of Microsoft package.
