Delivery Team Leader (DTL)
Quanta part of QCS Staffing, is a successful international recruitment consultancy, established in 1992. The role of the Delivery Team Leader
The role of the Delivery Team Leader involves the management responsibility on a daily basis of a team of Delivery Executives in the Life Sciences, Renewables or Data & IT division. To liaise with the Delivery Manager and/or Group Delivery Manager to ensure they are working on the right roles for the business at any given time; ensure search strings are set; to set weekly / monthly objectives; complete monthly performance reviews and offer support / advice with their individual career progression.
With regards to the development of an on-going business relationship with the contingent staff it is important that an understanding is developed of the individual and their personal background in order that an atmosphere of integrity and goodwill may be created.
Responsibilities, goals and tasks:

To provide line management to designated Delivery Executives in order to prioritise which assignments to operate on in conjunction with GDM, Sales Leadership and Business Winners. Working with the Delivery Executives on a daily basis, ensuring they are set, working with and achieving their daily objectives. To work with the DEs where calendars are not well-organised to help coach the colleague to improve. To complete floor walks through different time periods in the day to ensure Delivery Executives are focused on core business activities and working towards achieving their business objectives. Oversee candidate searches on the companys database, job boards and communities of interest and ensure all suitable candidates are contacted to discuss contract opportunities across the team. To ensure Delivery Executives do not work requirements, unless full qualified and job order forms are used when client permits. To ensure all new job requirements worked by the team are advertised through the job advertisement portal (Idibu) unless role is not to be advertised, and on social media forums, such as LinkedIn. Then to ensure the advert is deleted once the role has been filled. To ensure all candidate records on Bullhorn are updated with the most recent CV this includes personal details and relevant codes. To ensure Delivery Executives network the requirements in a positive manner to gain referrals. This includes undertaking telephone work during evenings when the situation demands an urgent response and to continue to grow the candidate database. To work with the Talent Acquisition Team in the recruitment and selection of new hires. To attend job fairs when required to support the candidate attraction process. To become an internal specialist in the use of the internal training material available. Acting as back-up to the Business Winning team where needed concerning the arrangement of interviews and where appropriate including the provision of travel information and managing the interview process (pre / post interview conversations and closing candidates). Post-sales assistance to ensure team provide contingent staff with information regarding temporary and long-term accommodation, special travel arrangements and any registration formalities that may have to be undertaken. To agree with Business Winners which placements are managed (candidate care) by the Delivery Executives during the course of their contract with Quanta. To ensure that all relevant information is recorded within the Companys CRM system Bullhorn. Working with GDM and the L&D team to agree the training agenda and any subsequent training and staff development programmes. Work with and assist the L&D Team to achieve the agreed training objectives. Working with DM & GDM to map staff career progression to assist with future recruitment needs and future staffing costs. To monitor and evaluate service levels between Business Winning Team and Delivery Team and improve overall standards of supply and after sales support. To work with Business Winning Team to help identify new sources of sales / project information and sources of candidates. To present GDM with probation and promotion proposals. To work with DM & GDM and provide an overview of team placement and promotional predictions. To work with DM & GDM on improving delivery processes and focus on maintaining standards, best practice, increasing results and productivity. To anticipate transitions from Delivery Executive into alternative business functions. To manage the transition process for individual team members, while working with the future Line Manager, and ensure a positive working environment. In partnership with Operations & IT, develop a system to provide comprehensive analysis of delivery data (eg. time to hire, performance ratios, sales leads, networked names). To generate ideas for individual, business unit and / or company improvement. Continue to develop a success culture based on agreed objectives, personal responsibility and collective commitment to customer satisfaction. To foster a positive workplace and positive outcomes through effective conflict management and resolution. To represent the company, adopting the highest possible standards of professionalism at all times. Tracking all of the above to ensure that any issues, problems or queries are dealt with Providing coaching and guidance on an ad hoc basis to deal with live situations. Where needed to support the Delivery Team in identifying and presenting suitable candidates to the Business Winning Team.
